How does the 14-day free trial work?+
You create your account and get all of Nerela for 14 days — scheduling, patients, session notes, invoicing and a public booking page. We never ask for a card. When the 14 days end, nothing is charged automatically: if you want to continue, you start the subscription yourself from Billing.
Do I need a card to start?+
No. Not to create the account, and not during the 14 days. You only enter payment details the day you decide to subscribe — and if you never do, there's no charge and no renewal to cancel.
How much does it cost after the 14 days?+
The Professional plan costs €19/month. The Centre plan costs €59/month and already includes 3 practitioners; each practitioner from the fourth onward adds €9/month. Paying annually saves 20% — €45.60/year on the Professional plan and €141.60/year on the Centre plan. No lock-in.
How quickly does Nerela pay for itself?+
It depends on your session rate. If you charge, say, €55 a session, avoiding just one no-show a month already covers almost three times the Professional plan. And one no-show a month is a conservative estimate — plug in your own numbers and see what it comes to.
How much do I pay for a centre with 5 practitioners?+
€59/month for the Centre plan, which already includes 3 practitioners, plus €9/month for each of the 2 extra ones: €77/month. Paying annually, €61.60/month.
Can I bring my patients over from wherever I manage them today?+
Yes. You import them from a CSV file and, if you'd rather, we do it with you: we set up your schedule, session types and the import in one working session. You talk to the people building Nerela, not a random support ticket.
How does Nerela handle invoicing in Ireland? Do I need certified software?+
Ireland doesn't currently require certified e-invoicing for psychologists, neither B2B nor B2C. Nerela issues a PDF invoice-receipt with automatic sequential numbering, your tax details, your patient's, and the session amount. Each invoice is chained to the previous one with a SHA-256 hash: edit an old one and the chain breaks, visibly. VAT registration is a matter to confirm with your own accountant, independent of Nerela.
Does Nerela file insurance reimbursement claims for me?+
The receipt is issued by Nerela with whatever the insurer asks for, and the patient submits the claim themselves. You save their insurer on their patient record and the receipt comes out complete the first time, which is where most reimbursements get lost.
Does it charge the patient's card automatically every month?+
Each session creates its own invoice with its own payment link, which is exactly how a psychologist bills: a session that didn't happen isn't charged, and you don't need to remember to pause anything when a patient is on holiday. The patient pays by card from their phone in twenty seconds and the invoice marks itself as paid.
Where is my patients' data stored, and can I take it with me?+
Encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted in the European Union, with automatic backups. Each account only ever reaches its own data, with isolation enforced at the database level itself. EU GDPR applies, with Ireland's Data Protection Commission (DPC) as the competent authority. You can request export or deletion whenever you like, at no cost.
Is there other software built specifically for psychologists in Ireland?+
We haven't identified another practice-management software built specifically for psychologists active in Ireland today — only general booking platforms, built for hair salons, spas or gyms, not clinical work. Nerela aims to be the first practice-management software built specifically for psychologists in Ireland.
What if I run a group with several locations?+
Today each centre runs on its own account, with its own schedule, team and reports. If you run a group, tell us how you work and we'll build it with you.
